Brandon Ward

Background

At an early age, Brandon realized the importance of technology and how it coincides with the functionality of a facility and interaction between people that occupy it. Brandon received his degree in Networking with a concentration in Cisco Systems, which provides a foundation for designing Low Voltage systems- networking being the key integration point between systems. Over the last 15 years, he has diversified his skill set with various positions around metro-Atlanta. From Draftsman work at both Integrator and Low Voltage Engineering Consulting firms to Operations Manager in a Low Voltage Consulting firm, overseeing all internal operations and quality assurance of the firm, Brandon has accumulated impressive knowledge and experience in the Low Voltage industry. He has also worked for both Architects and Engineers on commercial building and Low Voltage system design as well as gained complementary product development insight from an audio visual technology company. BWard Designs, LLC was established in 2011 to allow Brandon the opportunity to most creatively share his passion, strong account management, and Low Voltage skills with the industry.

Current

Brandon has been involved in multiple projects with varying complexity. From the beginning of BWardDesigns, Brandon has been a part of project teams for large airports, multi-tenant, government, higher education, K-12, and medical facilities. In addition to Low Voltage system design, Brandon provides consulting services to aid in standardizing engineering department operations for other design firms.

Future

Brandon understands the rapid pace in which technology changes. To address this, Brandon has been formally trained on BIM Modeling software and plans to work towards multiple certifications. He is currently working towards his RCDD certification in 2015.
